Lucarelli Full Professor

Mark J. Lucarelli, MD, FACS, was promoted to professor in the University of Wisconsin Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. Dr. Lucarelli has been an oculoplastic surgeon in the Department since 1997.

He completed his residency at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston in 1995. He completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison in 1997. Dr. Lucarelli has published more than 100 articles and chapters in his field.

Dr. Lucarelli is service chief of the oculoplastics division of the Department and leads the fellowship in Ophthalmic Facial Plastic Surgery as well. He has served on the executive committee of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and currently is a member of the steering committee of the International Thyroid Eye Disease Study Group.

Dr. Lucarelli specializes in oculoplastic, orbital, and facial cosmetic surgery.
