- Understanding the role of calcium signaling in cancer and angiogenic-related diseases of the eye
- Identifying the genes and their products which establish the malignant phenotype associated with uveal melanoma, the primary malignancy originating in the eye
- Developing drug approaches for the treatment of uveal melanoma, other cancers and neovascular diseases of the eye
