AAPOS 6th Annual Kushner Webinar

The American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus (AAPOS) will present the 6th Annual Kushner webinar on February 27, 2021. Dr. Mauro Goldchmit from São Paulo, Brazil, was selected to deliver the lecture entitled “A decision making approach to reoperations and restrictive strabismus.” For this comprehensive overview, Dr. Goldchmit invited three well-known and outstanding speakers, Drs. The Kushner Medal and Lecture

The Kushner Medal and Lecture was established by the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, to honor Dr. Burt Kushner.

An outstanding pediatric ophthalmologist or strabismologist will be selected each year to be the Kushner Medalist and Lecturer by a committee made up of members of the DOVS Pediatric Ophthalmology Service and a representative of the AAPOS Board of Directors.
