Ophthalmology Grand Rounds

EDUCATION FOR CLINICAL PROFESSIONALS
Residents and faculty present and discuss various case studies with the goal of improving clinical care practice. Held weekly throughout the year, Grand Rounds offers continuing Medical Education (CME) credit for ophthalmologists and Continuing Education (CE) credit for optometrists.
Presenting this Week:
Christina Thomas-Virnig, Ph.D., Translational Research Facilitator, will provide a brief presentation at the beginning of Grand Rounds titled, “IRIS Registry Analytics Team”. Read below for more information.
Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is assembling a team of ophthalmologists and researchers for an Intelligent Research in Sight (IRIS) registry initiative through the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). The team must go through an application process and if awarded will be provided access to the IRIS registry with AAO oversight to guide research projects.
