Dr. Alice McPherson, who has had a long and distinguished career as a Retina specialist, was honored with the University of Wisconsin’s highest alumni award during the Chancellor’s lunch on October 15.
Dr. McPherson completed her residency in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and was one of the founders of the Ophthalmology Alumni Association. She established the Retina Research Foundation and supports research at many ophthalmology departments.
