Department Adds Presence to European Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Conference

UW Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Chair Terri Young, MD, MBA, attends the 35th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) in Athens, Greece, along with ophthalmic plastic surgeons Dr. Mark Lucarelli, Dortzbach Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and Dr. Geoffrey Rose, president of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) organization.

Dr. Young presented a poster entitled “Novel gene variant identified for unusual eyelid, eyebrow, and conjunctival syndrome” and Dr. Lucarelli delivered a talk on “Treating synkinesis with botulinum toxin: strategies, case examples, and treatment of buccinator.” More information about the meeting can be found on www.esoprs2016.gr.
