Course Description: This lecture will describe the use of both posterior and anterior ultrasound and how to label and use descriptive language to explain an ultrasound exam. The anatomy and pathologies that the ordering providers typically look for will be discussed and examples will be shown.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the attendee should be able to:
- List common anatomy and pathology that can be imaged by ultrasound
- Describe the difference in anterior and posterior ultrasound
- Understand how to label and use descriptive language when testing
