Clinical Care
Our comprehensive ophthalmologists work in partnership with UW Health to deliver high-quality care for a wide range of eye conditions. From routine eye exams to diagnosing and managing diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and refractive errors, we are committed to providing individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Our specialists are skilled in the early detection of eye diseases, employing advanced diagnostic tools and offering a range of treatments, including medical management, minor procedures, and referrals to subspecialists when needed.
Research
We are committed to advancing the field of comprehensive ophthalmology through ongoing research and the adoption of the latest techniques and technologies. A new and exciting advancement in our practice is the use of multifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs). These lenses offer improved vision at multiple distances, reducing or even eliminating the need for glasses after cataract surgery. Our team is actively exploring the benefits of multifocal IOLs to improve patient outcomes and expand the options available for vision correction.
Education
Education is a cornerstone of our mission. We offer training and mentorship to residents, fellows, and medical students, helping them develop their skills in comprehensive ophthalmology. Our Phaco Course, held annually in August, provides hands-on experience in cataract surgery techniques, equipping learners with the skills they need to excel in their practice. Through workshops, lectures, and real-world training, we ensure that the next generation of ophthalmologists is prepared to meet the evolving needs of the field.
