- Investigator Initiated
- Principal Investigator: Laura Kopplin, MD, PhD

Study objective:
To compare the gut microbiota composition in pediatric Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) uveitis patients to JIA patients without uveitis and to healthy controls.
Study design:
The study will comprise three groups: patients with JIA with uveitis, patients with JIA without uveitis and healthy controls. There will be one study visit involving medical history, a food frequency questionnaire, and collection of a stool sample using a provided fecal collection kit. Fecal samples will undergo extraction for DNA/genetic analysis and evaluation of the microbiome composition.
Inclusion criteria:
- Male or female patients ≥ 2 years of age
