Program Overview

This structured, high-volume externship prepares students for independent, full-scope practice. Externs are expected to see 6–8 patients per day, manage clinical testing and case assessments, and present to supervising optometrists while gaining confidence and competence in patient care.

What to Expect:

    • Comprehensive care, urgent care, low vision, glaucoma, pediatrics, specialty contacts
