Welcome to the official website for the Wisconsin Advanced Imaging of Visual Systems (WAIVS) project. Founded in 2018, the project promises to establish and advance exciting new eye imaging techniques at UW–Madison.
The WAIVS project is instrumental in advancing adaptive optics imaging at UW–Madison, supporting new research and real-time viewing of the living eye at the cellular level. This technology is expanding our understanding of retinal structure and diseases.
